Fleet commands! (and other improvements)
NEW:
Holding "Shift" while moving allows you to boost your engine. If it gets too hot, it can overheat and stop working while it cools down, or, randomly, blow up.
We have a soundtrack system now.
Choosing a command orders your fleet to do what you want.
You can see the command letters (to be replaced with icons/buttons) in the top left:
S = Attack enemy ships (Key binding = "1")
B = Attack enemy base( Key binding = "2")
R = Retreat to our base (Key binding = "3")
P = Capture the points (Key binding = "4")
Your friendly captains will target enemies in an intelligent way based on what you select. You can also see the "enemy base" here (red cube), an enemy dock (red capsule), and a placeholder black hole. There's a friendly base further back.
Also cranked up the random island spawn. All islands are from a single placeholder prefab for now. The ultimate goal is a semi-procedural mapgen like AOE2.
I left some space in this UI for the capture point system and generally cleaned things up. I've been slowly implementing a delegate system that is improving performance at the cost of some mental abstraction. I'm using some placeholder voice lines for the command confirmation messages. We'll replace all of these sounds later.
